S. LaRue Williams was born in Jacksonville, Florida where he attended high school. He graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a B.S.B.A. degree and graduated from the University of Florida College of Law. In 1970, he joined the law firm of Kinsey, Vincent, Pyle, P.L. "KVP".   In 1975 he became the Managing Partner. Today, he is Co-Managing Partner of KVP.

Mr. Williams is AV Preeminent® Rated by Martindale-Hubbell® which is the highest rating available for a lawyer. Since 2014, he has consistently been Included in every edition of The Best Lawyers in America© for his work in Construction Law. He has been recognized for each of the last 11 years by Super Lawyers in Construction Law and in 2016 by the Daytona Beach News-Journal as a "Top Attorney" in Volusia and Flagler Counties.
